These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of masterbilling.org and the related resources, content, and free assessments offered by Master Billing LLC ("Master Billing," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
By using masterbilling.org, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. The site is intended for use by healthcare professionals and practice administrators in the United States. If you are accessing the site from a country other than the United States, you do so at your own risk and remain responsible for compliance with local laws.
masterbilling.org is provided for informational purposes — to describe our services, share educational content about dermatology billing and coding, and let prospective clients request a Free Revenue Audit or a strategy call. You may use the site for these intended purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
You agree not to:
Master Billing offers complimentary preliminary assessments — including the Free Revenue Audit and the Revenue Diagnostic — to qualified dermatology practices. These assessments are educational and do not create a client relationship. Findings are based on the information you provide and on industry benchmarks; they are not a substitute for a full operational review.
We reserve the right to decline or limit free assessments based on practice fit, capacity, or other reasonable business considerations. Engagement of Master Billing for any paid services requires a written agreement signed by both parties.
Content on this website — including blog posts, guides, FAQs, code references, and example metrics — is for general informational purposes. It does not constitute medical, legal, tax, or accounting advice. Coding, billing, and compliance rules change frequently and vary by payer, state, and clinical context. You should not rely on any content here as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who has reviewed your specific circumstances.
References to specific CPT codes, ICD-10 codes, modifiers, and payer policies are accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the publication date but may become outdated. Verify all codes and policies against current authoritative sources before applying them in practice.
By using the site or submitting any form, you consent to receive electronic communications from Master Billing — including by email, text message, and notice posted on the site — about the inquiry you submitted, our services, and these Terms. You agree that any electronic notice satisfies any legal requirement that the communication be in writing.
When you submit a phone number through a form on masterbilling.org, you consent to be contacted by Master Billing at that number about the inquiry you submitted. Contact may be by phone call, voicemail, or text message, and may be initiated using an automatic telephone dialing system or pre-recorded message. Consent to be contacted is not a condition of receiving a Free Revenue Audit or any other service. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. You can opt out of phone calls by asking us to remove your number from our outreach list, and you can opt out of text messages by replying STOP to any text we send.
The site, its design, copy, images, code, and brand assets — including the Master Billing name, logo, and color system — are owned by Master Billing LLC or its licensors and are protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages from the site for personal, non-commercial reference. Any other use — including reproduction, modification, distribution, or commercial use — requires our prior written permission.
The site links to third-party websites and tools (for example, EHR vendor pages, regulatory sources, and the HubSpot Meetings calendar booking widget). We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, products, or practices. Your use of any third-party site or service is at your own risk and subject to that party's terms.
The site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Master Billing disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and availability.
We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. Performance metrics described on the site (for example, "98% clean claim rate," "$180M+ in charges processed annually") reflect aggregate Master Billing experience and are not a guarantee of results for any specific practice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Master Billing and its officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including lost revenue, lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising out of or in connection with your use of the site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our aggregate liability arising out of or related to your use of the site (regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise) is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). This limitation does not apply to liabilities that cannot be limited under applicable law, and does not apply to obligations between Master Billing and any client practice under a separately signed Master Services Agreement, Statement of Work, or Business Associate Agreement, which control over these Terms with respect to that engagement.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Master Billing LLC and its officers, employees, and contractors from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the site, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Volusia County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Under California Civil Code § 1789.3, California users are entitled to know that they may file complaints regarding the site or its services with the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs by contacting it in writing at 1625 North Market Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.
Master Billing will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing under these Terms caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, labor disputes, internet or telecommunications failures, supply-chain disruptions, or third-party service outages.
Master Billing may assign these Terms or any rights under them, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or by operation of law. You may not assign these Terms or any rights under them without our prior written consent. Any prohibited assignment is void.
We may give notice to you by posting on the site, by email to the address you provide, or by any other method permitted by law. Notice is effective on the day it is posted, sent, or delivered. You may give notice to Master Billing by emailing team@masterbilling.org or by writing to Master Billing LLC, 258 Treemonte Dr, Suite 258, Orange City, FL 32763. Notice from you is effective when we receive it.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law to reflect the original intent of the parties, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that right or provision. A waiver of any right or provision must be in writing and signed by Master Billing to be effective.
The following sections survive termination of these Terms or your use of the site: Free Revenue Audit and Other Assessments, No Professional Advice, Electronic Communications, Phone and Text Communications, Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law and Dispute Resolution, Notice to California Residents, Notices, Severability, No Waiver, and this Survival section.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the HIPAA Notice — and, where applicable, any signed Master Services Agreement, Statement of Work, or Business Associate Agreement between Master Billing and your practice — constitute the entire agreement between you and Master Billing with respect to the site and supersede all prior or contemporaneous oral or written communications, proposals, or representations relating to the same subject matter. To the extent these Terms conflict with a separately signed agreement, the separately signed agreement controls for the matters it addresses.
The site and all related services are controlled and operated from the United States. We make no representation that they are appropriate or available for use in other locations. You are responsible for compliance with all applicable export and re-export control laws and regulations, including U.S. sanctions administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
Master Billing is committed to making masterbilling.org accessible to people of all abilities. We design and maintain the site with the goal of conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. If you experience difficulty accessing any part of the site, or if you have suggestions for improvement, please contact us at team@masterbilling.org with the subject line "Accessibility Feedback" and we will work with you to provide the information, item, or transaction you seek through an accessible alternative.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
